Swat Kalam

Kalam is a valley located in the Swat Kohistan region of Swat District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. It is the site where the Swat River forms as a result of the confluence of two major tributaries, the Gabral and Ushu rivers.

Kalam is encircled by green hills, thick forests and blessed with mesmerizing Lakes, lively meadows and waterfalls, which make the Valley a must wandering place. It is the birthplace of the Swat River, made of two major tributaries; Gabral River and Ushu River.
